Riverside pricing: what each plan costs and what it limits

Riverside pricing comes in four plans, and the gap between the monthly and yearly price is up to 20%. Here is every Riverside plan in one table, with the limits that decide which one you need, as we read the Riverside pricing page on October 22, 2026.

A discrepancy to know about: the same page’s FAQ said yearly billing takes Pro “from $29 to $24/month” and Grow “from $39 to $34”, which does not match the plan cards ($35 to $29 and $45 to $36). We report the card prices, because those are what checkout is built from, and mark the FAQ figures unverified.

Monthly versus yearly

Riverside advertises “up to 20% off” yearly plans. On the card prices, a year of Pro costs $348 billed yearly against $420 month to month, Grow $432 against $540, and Webinar $948 against $1,188 (our arithmetic, before tax). Monthly billing makes sense for a seasonal show or a short project; for a weekly show, yearly Riverside pricing is cheaper.

What each Riverside plan includes

Recording hours are unlimited on every paid plan, and all record up to 4K on desktop with 44.1 and 48 kHz audio and up to 10 people in a session. The differences are elsewhere:

  • Pro covers studio-quality recording with no watermark, a teleprompter for the host, in-person multi-cam recording, unlimited text-based editing and transcriptions, Magic Clips and show notes, AI B-roll, eye contact and filler-word removal, and podcast hosting with publishing to YouTube, Spotify and Apple.
  • Grow adds audience tools (social scheduling, a newsletter, a creator website, video hosting, AI thumbnails), hosting for two shows, the Riverside MCP and full HD live streaming with multistreaming to unlimited destinations and custom RTMP.
  • Webinar adds webinars with up to 100 registrants, recurring sessions with no time limits, registration forms, lead capture, Q&A and polls, reminder emails, webinar analytics and a HubSpot integration.
  • Business adds unlimited studios and downloads, up to 10,000 webinar registrants, producer mode, custom frame rates (24, 25, 29.97 FPS), 4K on mobile, collaborative editing, API access, SSO, SOC 2 and ISO 27001 compliance and a dedicated success manager.

Riverside defines a studio as the space for one show, with its own recordings, hosting and analytics. If you run two podcasts, you need Grow or above.

AI credits and add-ons

Some Riverside AI features run on credits: AI Translation, AI B-Roll and Animated Clips. Pro starts with 2,000 credits and Business with 12,000; once they are used you can buy more, at a price the pricing page did not state (unverified). Magic Clips, Magic Audio and the AI Co-Creator do not use credits. On Pro, Grow and Webinar an extra editor seat is sold as an add-on, also at a price not shown (unverified).

Is there a free Riverside plan?

The live Riverside pricing page we read on October 22, 2026 showed only paid plans and a 14-day free trial. A staging copy of the same page, returned to one of our fetches, described a Free plan with 2 hours of multi-track recording, 720p video and a watermark, so a free tier may still exist through sign-up; we mark it unverified. For free tiers in AI video tools, see AI video free plans compared.

Which Riverside plan to choose

  • One podcast or video show: Pro, $29 a month billed yearly.
  • Two shows, or live streaming: Grow.
  • Lead-generation webinars: Webinar; Riverside says Grow lacks registration, Q&A and webinar analytics.
  • Media teams needing SSO, compliance or many producers: Business.

Riverside for AI clips

Riverside’s Magic Clips turns a recording into short clips without using credits, which overlaps with dedicated clippers. If you already record elsewhere and only need clips, compare the cost per source minute in our AI clipping cost per minute table and Opus Clip pricing. We have not tested Riverside’s clipping ourselves.
