Credits are not finished clips

A plan’s credit allowance does not tell you how many outputs will pass review. The API documentation also contains a rate/example conflict. Measure the returned quote, final charge, refund, and accepted output count before estimating capacity.

Two calculations, two different questions

Allocated clip cost = net job credits × plan price ÷ included plan credits ÷ accepted clips. This assigns a fraction of plan capacity to the job.

Actual cash cost = total subscription and top-up spending during the period ÷ accepted clips during that period. This captures unused capacity. If no clips pass, report “no accepted output,” not a zero-dollar clip.

Illustrative arithmetic — not a benchmark

If a hypothetical $20 subscription produces 10 accepted clips in a month, its cash cost is $2 per accepted clip before labor and tax. If only 2 pass, it is $10. These invented inputs explain the formula; they are not Vugola results.

The purchasing worksheet

Record monthly volume, source length, net job charge, acceptance rate, repair time, and retention needs. Avoid choosing an annual plan based only on advertised savings before a successful representative trial.

When is another tool cheaper?

Only a matched workload can establish the crossover point. Compare our Opus Clip alternatives worksheet and include editing labor in both sides.

Frequently asked questions

How much does Vugola AI cost?

The checked monthly prices are $19.99 for Starter, $49.99 for Creator, and $99.99 for Pro, before any applicable tax.

How much does one finished clip cost?

That depends on actual charged credits, accepted outputs, and unused plan capacity. No observed figure is available yet.

Does API access cost extra?

The published pricing page includes API access on each paid tier. We have not verified billing through a purchase.

Do unused credits change the calculation?

Yes. Dividing a subscription by all included credits assumes full utilization; your actual cost per used credit can be higher.
