Runway
Runway is the most direct Kling AI alternative for creators who like Kling’s output but want more tools around it, because its paid plan cards list Kling 3.0 alongside Gen-4.5 and Nano Banana Pro. Free gives 125 one-time credits. Standard costs $15 a month, or $12 a month billed yearly, for 625 credits a month, which Runway equates to 52 seconds of Gen-4.5. Pro costs $35 a month, or $28 billed yearly, for 2,250 credits. Max costs $95 a month, or $76 billed yearly, for 9,500 credits and rolls unused credits over for one month.
Runway’s model table prices Gen-4.5 at 60 credits per 5 seconds and Seedance 2.0 Pro at 160 credits per 4 seconds at 1080p. Plans also include music, voice and 4K upscaling. More detail is on our Runway pricing page.
Luma
Luma is a Kling AI alternative that still lets you run Kling. Its cost table lists Kling 3.0 text-to-video and image-to-video at 30 credits a second at 720p without audio, 40 with audio, 40 a second at 1080p without audio and 49 with, and 147 a second in 4K. Kling 3.0 Omni has the same rates. Luma’s own Ray3.14 model costs 20 credits a second at 720p and 80 at 1080p.
Plus costs $30 a month ($300 billed yearly) for 10,000 credits and includes commercial use. Pro costs $90 a month ($900 billed yearly) for 40,000 credits, and Ultra $300 a month ($3,000 billed yearly) for 150,000 credits. By our arithmetic, Plus credits cover about 204 seconds of Kling 3.0 at 1080p with audio (10,000 ÷ 49). The page listed no free plan.
Pika
Pika has the cheapest monthly entry among the studios we read. Free has 0 monthly credits and works with credit packs only, at 60 credits per $1. Starter costs $10 a month, or $8 billed yearly, for 900 credits. Creator costs $35 a month, or $28 billed yearly, for 3,150 credits. Fancy runs from $95 to $880 a month ($76 to $704 billed yearly), starting at 8,550 credits.
Pika’s page does not list Kling models; its examples use models such as Seedance 2.5 and Nano Banana 2. It suits people who want a low monthly price more than a particular model.
OpenArt
OpenArt is a Kling AI alternative built around characters, stories and image editing. Starter was shown at $13 a seat a month ($14 struck through) for 4,000 credits, Plus at $27 ($34 struck through) for 12,000 credits, Pro at $44 ($56 struck through) for 24,000 credits, and Wonder at $175 ($240 struck through) for 106,000 credits. The page also advertised 50% off Kling 4.0 generations with Wonder or Pro until November 20.
Promotions like that change often, so budget on the plan price rather than the discount.
Google Veo
If you build your own app or workflow, Google Veo is a pay-as-you-go Kling AI alternative. On the Gemini API, Veo 3.1 with audio costs $0.40 a second at 720p or 1080p and $0.60 in 4K. Veo 3.1 Fast costs $0.10, $0.12 and $0.30 a second, and Veo 3.1 Lite $0.05 at 720p and $0.08 at 1080p. Google lists no free tier for Veo and charges only for videos that are generated.
An 8-second Veo 3.1 Lite clip at 720p works out at $0.40 by our arithmetic. Google’s consumer plans and the October 22 change to Veo preview model IDs are covered on our Veo pricing page.
Seedance
Seedance, ByteDance’s video model, is the other per-second Kling AI alternative. BytePlus quotes Seedance 2.0 at about $0.07 a second at 480p, $0.15 at 720p, $0.37 at 1080p and $0.78 in 4K for videos made without video input, and Seedance 2.0 Fast at about $0.06 a second at 480p and $0.12 at 720p. Studios such as Runway, Luma and Pika also resell Seedance on their credit plans.
The full rate card, including Seedance 2.5, is on our Seedance pricing page.
Staying with Kling
Before you switch, compare like with like. In our October 21 check, Kling’s paid plans had a lower first-month price that rose on renewal. Our Kling AI pricing page lists the plans from our October 21 check. If you already use a multi-model app such as Higgsfield, our Higgsfield alternatives page compares the same studios from that angle.
How to choose a Kling AI alternative
- Decide whether you still want Kling models. If yes, Runway and Luma both list Kling 3.0, so you can keep the look and gain other models.
- Price a real clip, not a plan. Divide a plan’s credits by the credit cost of your usual model, length and resolution. The same plan buys far more 720p seconds than 1080p or 4K.
- Use an API for volume. If you generate many clips from code, per-second prices from Veo or Seedance are easier to budget than credits.
- Start small. Use Runway’s free credits or one month on a cheap plan before paying for a year.

How we checked these tools
We read each vendor’s pricing page on October 22, 2026 and copied prices and limits as shown, in USD. Where a card offered monthly and yearly billing, we give both if both were readable. Kling’s membership page loaded its prices by script on our October 22 re-read, so this page does not quote Kling plan prices. Seconds-of-video figures marked as our arithmetic are our own division of a plan’s credits by the listed credit rate. No vendor paid for placement and there are no affiliate links.
